Advanced Cutting Technology AS has specialized on laser and
knife cutting systems, in addition to systems for high
frequency welding and embossing, water jet cutting, die
cutters and CO2 and YAG laser marking with CAD.
The company has two offices on the west coast of Norway,
one in Bergen and one in Sykkylven. The Sykkylven office is
equipped with the latest AV equipment, and has excellent
facilities for customer training.
As per today ACT AS has installed 252 CAD workstations and
also installed more than 95 large cutting systems in
Norway.
With the widest experience and highest number of
installations in its market sector in Norway, ACT AS stands
out as a safe choice of supplier for potential customers.
ACT AS was distributor for Lectra a French company taking
care of sales and marketing, installations, training,
customer support and service in Norway until 31 october
2011.
ACT’s marketing philosophy is to deliver machines
that are customized to the highest possible degree e.g. the
customer only buys what is essential for his production.
This way the entrance fee to new technology can be kept at
the lowest possible level.
When the production process changes in the future, it will
be possible to make the necessary upgrading since this has
been taken into consideration already when choosing the
type of machine.
In 1984 we at ACT AS installed the first CO2 laser cutters
for upholstery, car interiors and apparel industry, and
since the very beginning the goal of the company has been
to build up it’s reputation around the service and
customer support.
The technicians are, therefore, being continuously updated
with the latest technology available by attending training
courses both at home and abroad.
The Sykkylven office also carries a spare parts stock
covering all the various products out on the field.
