Miriam Masecha Mwanga, or simply Miriam is an exiting, new artist from Oslo, Norway. "Off That Thing" is her debut single, showcasing her unique, neon glittering pop-r'n'b sound, effortlessly combining left of center productions with memorable hooks.
"Off That Thing" is out June 15th, followed by two singles late summer leading up to her debut EP release in September 2018.
The track is produced by Benjamin Giørtz (Kid Astray, Erik Hassle), mixed by Jonas Kroon (Cezinando, Amanda Delara, Anna of the North) and mastered by Morgan Nicolaysen.

Project background and summary
Miriam could've easily stood out from the mass by her exceptional vocal talents alone, but the gifted 23 year old has carved out her own unique musical space in on the fringes of pop, r'n'b and club music. With her cheeky neon glittering debut single, "Off That Thing", she immediately sets the tone for her upcoming EP, out this fall: a varied mix of smooth r'n'b, sassyness and pure pop hooks.
Having collaborated with Norway's top songwriting talent for the last year, and being handpicked for Oslo's By:songs, there's no denying Miriam's place on the musical map in 2018. She even had her voice featured on Stella McCartney's 2018 Earth Day Campaign.

Miriam has a clear graphical identity that we're establishing before the release of the EP with single covers, photos, ads and social media assets all encompassing a uniform language that underlines the music.
Her logo is simple and minimalistic, but allows us to use strong coloring and contrast other graphical elements or photos.
In advance of the EP release, we've taken a series of photos with Anne Valeur that further establishes Miriam's style and esthetic.

Miriam's audience, is young, fun-loving, politically aware and mostly female. On her personal Instagram account she has over 7300 followers and regularly posts fun, relatable pictures of herself and her friends as well as music, memes and snippets from the studio.
